“Pick me out a winner, Bobby”

This is my childhood favorite baseball movie. Even though others have come along side and been just as great (Sandlot and Moneyball) I will always defend this film. So many great and timeless actors are in this. Robert Redford, Wilford Brimley, Robert Duvall, Kim Basinger, Glenn Close, Barbara Hershey, Michael Madsen, and Darren McGavin (the dad from Christmas Story) who was great in this. Let’s also not forget the score in this film is undefeated because it’s from Randy Newman! I still get chills at the end when his score hits at the right time!

Proud to say I have witnessed two of the best Olympic basketball moments in USA history.
The 92 Dream Team was dominant but this 24 Avengers Dream Team was transcendent.
Steph Curry is the greatest shooter of ALL time!

    As written…

That was an experience. I had chills multiple times. I have never seen a film that did that to me. The end credits even gave me chills. I have no other words right now.

Awards season can’t come soon enough for this film.

This is basically Falcon and Winter Soldier 2.0 with a little Red Hulk sprinkled in…

The MCU is desperately searching for its mojo and can’t find it. Everything seemed forced and predictable even the cameos. I absolutely love Tim Blake Nelson but he was nerfed by the script and plot. I’m excited for only one thing from this movie… mutants are coming! We need to end this multiverse of madness and move on to the X-men!
    Here’s hoping…
