I was impressed by it, but after reading some of the other reviews, I understand the pitfalls. One thing about this movie is that it seems to have trouble punching down-- while yes, religion is arguably a means of control, especially over young women, it seems a little backward that a home-owning educated white man would be the one to hammer that point home all while physically and mentally torturing several young women

Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery 1997
A relatively harmless raunchy spoof comedy. A lot of fatphobia and transphobia that was frankly unnecessary in 1997 and has long since culturally expired, but as a whole the film is enjoyable, especially for enjoyers of wordplay, prop comedy, and farce. Visually exciting, as it brings together the gaudiness of the 60s and the over-the-top luxury of spy movies. In league with Spaceballs and the like.

Porcelain War 2024
Incredible watch. Marbled with just enough beauty and hope to make the crushing reality of the atrocities portrayed possible to absorb. Visually stunning, and a quick watch.

Nosferatu 2024
It's fine. If I was trying to find a movie to watch with a friend and they really, really wanted to watch this because they hadn't seen it yet, I'd watch it again, but you won't find me watching it again for fun.
Count Orlak looks a little bit like a dripping wet Jim Carey the entire time and that took me out of it.Translated from by
