Ghostbusters 2016
Imperfect but better than one was lead to believe by the reception at the time. All four leads are doing their full shticks, which is both tiresome at times and very funny at others. Not a movie I would recommend enthusiastically to people but one I’m sure I’ll rewatch once or twice in my life. unfortunately it’s woke 1 star

Blink Twice 2024
A thoroughly okay movie. Spends too long in the “everything’s normal” stage when the audience obviously knows that things aren’t, and the big reveal is less interesting or momentous than it could’ve been. The ending/mini epilogue is not bad necessarily, but it’s the social commentary thriller version of “education is not liberating, then the dream of the oppressed is to become the oppressor,” which I don’t think it intended to be.
