  Very entertaining.
  Didn’t waste any space and knew what it wanted to be. I love this story of the duality between Jekyll and Hyde, I hope to adapt my own take on the strange case. This was a really good one.

  My first Garbo film!
  Such a romantic film and it was rather funny. 1939 Paris was something else. Nazis Communist and Capitalist all running a muck. Lots of very subtle jokes in this that would catch me off guard. And for coming out in 1939 it’s frankly a film that still holds up, very endearing, and took its time to accomplish what it was.   It’s a one star because I was genuinely entertained and was laughing a lot. But this movie might be one of the worst uses of a camera ever. Where most movies aren’t received well because of a weird story choice, someone’s personal preference, or maybe just not a lot of thought put into the writing. This movie was so bad on every level.
