This film touches on heavy historical topics as many other commenters mention, and manages to capture a fresh perspective of war that I haven’t seen until this film. That’s not to say it’s the only one of it’s kind, but this is my first time experiencing it.

In terms of the story, it has a solid pace. It does a good job of transitioning between different environments and experiences, and has an engaging main character. They do a fantastic job…

“You’re my brother and I love you. Better never take a side against the family ever again. Ever.”

I don’t think there’s any other way to describe this movie other than a masterpiece. The color, the music, the story, characters and their developments, scenes and settings - all are masterful and left me in awe. There isn’t a single frame within this 3:30:00 hours long movie that felt out of place, empty, or useless. This is the first movie I’ve ever experienced that gave me a full-world experience, and if I didn’t know better I would have believed this film wasn’t fictional.

“You’ve been working that bike trail a lot.”

This movie is a beautiful piece about community, family, and what it means to truly be alive. It does a beautiful job at giving a new look at the smaller things in life, and inspires you to take a look at your surrounding and find new meanings to the things you’ve grown used to. The importance of your relationships with people is incredibly important and that message is clear as day in this film. Beautiful piece, and truly made me think that this life is nothing short of a miracle.

On god this is an awful movie. If you can get past stupid decision-making, obnoxiously loud noises and sound effects, and an awful plot, then its a solid 4/10. I’ve never wanted to rage at a movie so hard before. It felt like I was a typical Kyle raging at COD with 4 monsters on my desk, and 13 holes in the wall next to it.

Also, the animators made it their job to make the whole animation feel as if the screen was ghosting the entire time.
