The sadness in every frame is hypnotic. I believe it's one of the best Asian films of the 21st century.
The use of ice as a motif, the otherworldly score, and the Jules and Jim reference all stand out.
Sadness is something we can all relate to, but what resonated with me more was the feeling of being in a place surrounded by strangers, where we feel more open to them with no judgment.

Huge potential, but a missed for not using real trasngender actors. And the last storyline was not impactful enough to closed the film.
But kudos to Anthony Falcon, the only actor that is believable in the role (but still should have been played by a real trans).
I was battling with myself if I was going to give it a 4.5 or a perfect star, but then I realized there were not enough films with this exquisite attention to detail this decade.
