Harlot's Prayer 2023
Thought-provoking, This Film is just goated and is such a breath of fresh air in the time where the cinema is being assaulted by countless horror films as per usual.
What I love about this movie is the emphasis that everything happens for a reason and that anger will not solve our insecurities in this cruel world. Stay Strong, as one character puts it.
A brave film and another masterpiece by Hanung Bramantyo, watch it whilst it's still up. The Audience helps consume the tough content.

Fugitive: The Curious Case of Carlos Ghosn 2022
For a documentary, this does the job it needs to do. It serves multiple perspectives of the people around Ghosn down to his maid, giving you a clear picture of who he was and what he is. Story wise it tells it well, giving you a rundown of his rise and fall on a person-to-person basis.
Giving you a picture of his actions surrounding not just Nissan but also the Nissan-Renault alliance and the corruption allegations surrounding him. Overall a great watch, and just gets the job done.
