Run Lola Run 1998
Run Lola Run is more than a German thriller and action film. It's genius in four: time bending, techno, animation, and live action. It pushes the boundaries of filmic conventions in an 80min sequence of events. The opening title sequence itself could be studied for literal years. While the visuals steal the show the plot is genuis. You can't help but be mesmerised by Franka Potente's breakthrough role as the head strong red headed Lola. Run Lola Run/Lola Rennt is the cinematic manifestation of the 1990s Germany. I love love love this film so much.
