The Zone of Interest 2023
More like The Zone of Disinterest. Slow and one-note. There's no meaningful development or change. No characters I'm interested in. The only redeeming quality is that it was mostly shot well. The constant multiple cuts while entering or exiting rooms became tedious though.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie 2023
This was a fun nostalgia trip. The fun and charm was predominantly due to the source material though. If it weren't Mario and I hadn't grown up playing many of those games it may not have been as enjoyable. A re-watch may also be more difficult to get through.
