Decent 40s movie about a shamus taking on more than he could chew, definitely can see some influence on The Big Lebowski. Best part was the special feature discussing its release and the reshoots to save Lauren Bacall’s career.

If you like set ups to have pay offs, this movie is for you. Comedy mobster Hollywood movie with an all-star cast.
Robin Williams in serious role, a nonfiction adaptation of an Oliver Sacks novel that shows the long term effects of encephalitis outbreak from the 1920s leaving people in a catatonic state for the rest of their lives. Incredible to imagine a discovery like this and having the highs and lows that are experienced.
That being said, wouldn’t recommend unless that’s your bag.
An origin story for a longtime franchise that most people don’t know the origin of done well, albeit predictable, setting up for a franchise to push more toys for years to come
