Gladiator II 2024
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Gladiator II is a sequel with none of the magic of its predecessor but still serves as an enjoyeable theatrical experience. In fact the only real moments that manage to bring about that spark are those that are heavily reliant on nostlagic beats such as the original film score and flashbacks.
Paul Mescal has nothing on Russel Crowe, there was no heart or depth to his performance as Lucius. I also didn't care for the very mediocre bland love story+revenge…
