The movie has a tragic yet fairly realistic view on how we as a community would react to an apocalyptic comet crash. It does a fairly decent job in casting light on our self-consumed culture and shallow take on life. The performances by Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence were commentable. Marvel somehow managed to create a movie that is too long and yet too short. The lack of screen time meant that events and narratives in the movie had be cut short causing the movie have an overall lack of flair and energy. I am of the opinion that this story was more suited to being presented as a series rather than a movie. That way, the creators could have had much more scope and flexibility in building a storyline…
