Close to the worst film I’ve ever seen. Hardly anything made sense? Almost the entire film is made up of a stream-of-consciousness story where we jump from scene to scene without any context to explain why we should care about what’s going on. Truly felt like a fever dream.
On top of the story woes were the problems with the editing (which was too chaotic and mostly just bad), the writing/dialogue (was stupid), the special effects (horrible for a $120 million movie), and the characters felt so pigeonholed into gender roles from 50 years ago it was hard to care about them.
