I love the Before Trilogy for its beautiful dialogue, characters, and portrayal of love. Whenever I finish the first or second movie, the overflowing love Jesse and Celine have for each other resonates with me each time, like I can physically feel it as I watch Ethan and Julie give their phenomenal performances. Before Midnight differs greatly from the previous films as these elements of Jesse and Celine’s unrequited love for each other are absent.
