I watched it because everyone on twitter was having a hissy fit, and i left extremely satisfied.
This film depicts the dichotomy between those who have been devoid of their personhood, those who are denied access to their own creation. They are denied personality, and flair, and charm. So they embody it through others, others who want to love that man they see.

this movie made me cry so much omgggg. i don’t want to spoil it, but i feel like they really portrayed the story in a way that resonated closely. the ending was a bit odd though, as it changed very abruptly. i have seen some interesting theories on reddit about it.
