This is clearly the precuel to Raising Arizona...
Things I will remember:
1. The snake jacket (I need it)
2. Lula
3. Sailor's fake nose at the end
4. Bank robbery scene
5. The good witch
6. Willem Dafoe
7. Harry Dean Stanton barking at the TV
8. Chris Isaak's music
9. Sailor thanking the gangsters
10. The "fuck you" written on the "Tuna" town entry
Among my favorite things, I especially enjoyed the glaring eyes, the free-flowing camera, the sound design... and Laura Dern's acting. Some moments in the movie feel so unsettling that they paradoxically come across as real...
Inland Empire is hypnotic. One can't help but wander through the claustrophobic images and the subtle yet intense sounds (the sound design is absolutely wild).

The experience is everything, and this was truly a mesmerizing one...
