No thanks. I don't want a bio about myself.
...wait
It’s nice to see something done with SpongeBob that feels unique enough to stand on its own. Not a terribly big fan of the musical numbers but they work fine for the film. Animation-wise, MUCH better than that Sandy movie. Still not even close to my favourite SpongeBob flick but it’s certainly a good watch.
The only enjoyment you'll get out of Del Toro's Pinocchio film is shock value. Once you get past that, it's a dull and misguided venture. It has terrible and forgettable songs, a jumbled plot that doesn't fully resolve half its plot points, and certain characters never get resolutions, with the few that do only getting them to serve to continue the plot and not because they actually had development in the first place.
Being the best Pinocchio film of the year isn't that big of a feat, so having little merit isn't going to stick in its future.
I'm sorry, little yellow one...
