The Automat 2021
I’m a deep lover of the most random documentaries and was introduced to the Automat a few months ago and wanted to take a deep dive. Though I never have much to share about the feelings I get from watching this genre of movie…the immense feeling of nostalgia for a time and place I have been, and never will be, able to experience hit me deeply. Sehnsucht (as C.S. Lewis may say) is present with me after watching this, and I’m grateful for it.
