The Lady 2011
Burma’s rich history and Aung San Su Kyi’s remarkable story deserves so much better than this. There’s so much to be told about the 88 revolution and Aung San Su Kyi’s story, and this film doesn’t even begin to scratch the surface. Also fails to highlight the struggles burmese citizens had to go through and their strength and solidarity.
Also on a side note breaks my heart watching this in this present day, knowing that history is repeating itself 30 years later.
