  John goodman is always great on the screen, always loved him as Fred Flinstone.

  I feel like the original focused on tension and attacking people's senses and with this, it's about the absurdity of it all. (Horror films and dynamics/tropes)

  It's essentially a black comedy with bare horror elements, I loved it but could totally get why others didn't.

  It feels at times that it mocks alot of things, the need for gore, sexuality/power dynamics, hammy acting (although that could just be everyone being coked-up)

  It feels loose and admirable to the original story…
