I watched this last summer but I had to come back to write a review after seeing it appear on my tiktok. This movie fundamentally changed my perspective about life and relationships. I felt like my frontal lobe was developing due to this movie. I loveeed this movie and I really love that the main character was a WOC. She is such an amazing actress in her own right but her being a woc added another layer for me that made this series spectacular. The only note for viewers - only watch when you’re mentally prepared.

I thoroughly enjoyed it. I wish I could have connected with Almut’s character though, it would have made me emotionally invested. I also was hoping to cry more in the movie.

Very hard movie to describe… and understand especially towards the end. Good movie though.
