    i was promised "a picaresque journey through the cities and woods of the Eastern seaboard" in which "everything will happen" but instead i got a slew of flat characters, and a static AND passive protagonist packaged in artsy camerawork that hardly even showcases the "picturesque" eastern landscapes. stylistically derivative and amounts to nothing substantial. made by and for balding men going through mid life crises.

    also i just really hate the lana del rey-coquette- tradwife pipeline aesthetic
