  Now this is my kind of shit. From that opening tracking shot I was locked in. Between this and Presence earlier this year I'm completely enamored with how Soderbergh moves the camera. Plus it has an absolute ripper of a score.

  Tense spy thriller about how you'll do anything in the world for your hot wife.

  Cut out thirty minutes or so and get rid of some of the franchise-film-style humor and this would have been extremely solid. Still, I had fun.

  I've cried every time I've watched this. I think it's pretty perfect overall but the final act really knocks me away every time. What a special film.

  Dysphoria be damned, if Brigette Lundy-Paine told me to jump into a coffin and bury myself alive I'd hop in before they could finish their little monologue about the TV show we used to watch growing up.

  THERE IS STILL TIME

  Dysphoria is a form of social death that will take years, if not decades off your life and it's up to you to tear into yourself and come to terms with what's true if you want to truly live.

  This is pretty remarkable. Schoenbrun proudly wears their influences on their sleeve but what they've created here feels fresh, groundbreaking, and truly special. Really feels like it could be a defining film.
