first studio G film i’ve ever watched. Needless to say they make breathtakingly beautiful films that are revolutionary in voice acting, art direction, soundtrack and sound design. I think a viewing experience is always gonna be top tier in some way with their expertise.

Went to see this in theaters. I was pleasantly surprised by this film in many ways.
I’ll start off with some positives.
-great cinematography choices
-Justin long is extremely underrated as an actor
-Justin longs characters first introduction into the film was tricky, as they “restart” exposition about 30 mins in. as an audience member, this could have totally ripped away my attention, especially after skarsgard got killed.…
i think it gave what it needed to give. Great performances, impressive set design and art direction, wonderful choreography and great casting. I think ariana and cynthia are pretty perfect for their roles and i’m glad ariana didn’t dissapoint. I’m sure im rating this higher cuz i haven’t ever seen wicked. Also giving it points for passing the bechdel test and being girlhood coded like barbie was. Never been in a theater that packed; was happy to see people at the movies!
