A Real Pain 2024
A Real Pain is exceptional, it is both the best comedy and drama I’ve seen in the past year. The story is a rollercoaster of emotions, one moment it’ll have you laughing, and the next it’ll bring you to tears. Kieran Culkin absolutely steals the show as Benji, his performance is both hilarious and heartbreaking, and it definitely justifies all of the award nominations. Jesse Eisenberg also deserves a lot of praise for this film, he wrote, directed, and starred, and excels at all three. This film is near flawless and is truly one of the best films of this decade so far.

Wicked 2024
What can I say about this film that hasn’t already been said. As someone who’s always enjoyed musicals somewhat, it is only in the past year I’ve grown to truly appreciate them. In my opinion, Wicked part 1 serves as the perfect gateway drug for anyone who might be hesitant to give these types of films a chance, and with its massive mainstream appeal, musicals will no longer have to stay in their niche ‘Bubble’ 😉.
