    This film is absolute magic.

My dad fell in love with Wes Anderson’s style when we watched this as a family when I was 15-16 but I was a teenager and skipped it to watch Skins on my iPad.  I really missed out then - I missed the opportunity to get put one peak.

The animation is gorgeous, and it’s plenty funny. I love the western references, and the fox-rat fight in the dark is insanely good. George Clooney is…

Didn’t really understand the plot. The visuals were probably crazy good for the time but it definitly ages the film.

I think if you saw this when it came out and you were 13 years old then it could be life-changing. As a 22 year old after decades of CGI innovation it doesn’t offer much. At least I can probably appreciate Tron Legacy a bit more when I rewatch it.

Some of this film felt completely enchanting. The scene that struck me the most is when Ben begins to sing. It adds nothing to the plot. His character is almost entirely insignificant in the film. The song itself doesn’t add much to the plot, and yet we get this whole scene dedicated to him singing and it’s just mesmerising. A few other scenes really stood out to me, and almost all of them were accompanied by music and lighting. I…
