Fantastic Mr. Fox 2009
This film is absolute magic.

Didn’t really understand the plot. The visuals were probably crazy good for the time but it definitly ages the film.
I think if you saw this when it came out and you were 13 years old then it could be life-changing. As a 22 year old after decades of CGI innovation it doesn’t offer much. At least I can probably appreciate Tron Legacy a bit more when I rewatch it.

I went in with low expectations to this - I thought it would be akin to Snowpiercer (which I didn’t really love) and a very average 3 star film.

Some of this film felt completely enchanting. The scene that struck me the most is when Ben begins to sing. It adds nothing to the plot. His character is almost entirely insignificant in the film.
