  I mean obviously an amazing subject, but what a slipshod documentary, just random live clips and videos interspersed with interviews. Not sure how the director got all of these interviews, but I wish they were offered with more context. Very poorly made, which is a shame because shoegaze is THE BEST.

  The footage contained is amazing, especially behind the scenes and live stuff. But the fact that the film largely refuses to address his sexuality is problematic to say the least. A quality hagiography, but a hagiography nonetheless.
