    Pretty good war film.

Great cast. Berenger and Sheen were both excellent. Legitimately didn’t even recognize Johnny Depp. Keith David and Forrest Whittaker both as good as ever.

As far as non-modern war movies go, this is pretty damn good. Visually holds up and the action scenes are super intense. Not up there with my favorites but it’s still solid.

The way Sheen’s character just completely snaps at some moments is absolutely terrifying.

Good score. Nothing spectacular but it gets…

    Hell yeah.

Robert Pattinson was incredible. It’s always hard to pull off playing multiple characters in the same movie. It’s even more impressive to play 2 characters that are supposed to be the same person, but play them differently enough that they have distinguishable and entertaining character arcs.

The rest of the cast was stellar. Steven Yeun was great, although it’s hard for me to separate his voice from Invincible especially when he’s yelling. Mark Ruffalo did really well being…

Pretty good. Not my favorite Scorsese, but I was thoroughly entertained. As far as his early films that I’ve seen go, this is probably my favorite.

It’s The Odyssey based in New York without the Cyclops.

Cheech and Chong being in this film gave me the biggest whiplash ever. Scorsese truly knows ball.

Great performance from Griffin Dunne. Don’t think I’ve seen him in anything other than this and Dallas Buyers Club but he’s really solid.

The score was really minimal but it filled in the empty spaces well.

Pretty solid movie. If I’m being honest here, this is the only good movie in the series, the other two are horribly mid. Crazy how they came so close to bringing the book justice with this film and then said, “meh fuck it”, with the rest of the series.

Susan is the original Katniss Everdeen. Still a bootleg of Legolas though…

The CGI is really solid. Somehow the CGI on the talking animals is 20x better than in the live…
