  Not insultingly bad, mostly just boring. No sense of visuals, feels like a bad improv session with some added special effects. Leslie Jones was good though.

  Altman's definitive 1975 classic, and certainly a new favorite of mine, has finally allowed me to pin him down as a filmmaker: he relishes in creating movies that are lowkey and humble, that slowly build momentum until they reach an explosive conclusion. PTA, whatever you think of him, is at least stealing from the best.
