Interstellar 2014
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Finally got around to watching this and really enjoyed it. All the space-based drama is excellent and I loved the aesthetic - the suits, spaceships and tech look realistic and rugged; not hyper-futuristic and shiny.
The parts on earth felt a bit off to me. Before Cooper goes into space there were some unnecessary - or maybe just weird - scenes and then later in the film the on-earth scenes that run parallel to the main plot feel rushed.
Oh and the bookcase scene was completely fucking ruined for me through seeing it on memes before I’d seen the film. Not ideal!!
