Sully was fairly straightforward biopic. Tom Hanks does a serviceable job portraying Sully, but nothing too noteworthy. The sequence of the plane landing in the Hudson is done extremely well and is some of the best directorial work from Eastwood in a long time. There isn't too much to say about Sully, it was an enjoyable experience but not one that stuck with me much after the film was over.
This was my second time seeing Sicario and while the film is mostly an enjoyable experience, I still found it hard to keep up with the plot. A lot of the decisions that characters made didn't make a lot of sense and I often felt myself wondering what exactly was going on. For example, I was struggling to follow how they discovered the location of the underground path beneath the border. This confusion does seem a bit warranted, however, because…
