Elemental 2023
Restarting letterbox reviews partly to spite my mother, this is a good movie despite her views. It had emotional heart a strong immigration heart to it and was drawn on the directors real immigration from Korea to America.
Both characters in the story were likeable and human. A good story for a modern world. Elemental was done dirty at the box office and Pixar is still going strong.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 2023
I went in with my hopes low due to recent MCU flops but this brought back the good days of the MCU. The multiverse wasn't at stake and it was a character based story that was emotional and powerful. I hated the villain because he was so fantastically portrayed. It was just a good movie and definitely the best of the MCU's recent stuff. Not as good as the first two but really how do you top them. I cried and really that's all you need to know. James Gunn is an asset to filmmaking.

Peter Pan & Wendy 2023
Liked this more than I thought I would to be honest. Jude Law absolutely nailed his role as he often does and I loved every moment he was on screen. Captain Hook had so much depth added to him that I actually felt really bad for the poor guy. Anyway it's definitely just a decent movie. Watch if you like Jude Law or really like Peter Pan. You won't be disappointed.
