  So I obviously like the material quite a lot so am biased but I thought this was good. It’s very slow which was lovely and that suited the grandiose soundtrack and atmosphere as things kicked into gear nicely. Nice cinematography too I suppose. A few actors were really bad however (David) and exposition was delivered so so bluntly that it couldn’t even have cut through a tomato without squishing it and releasing all of its innards.   I thought this was the one with Leo in it. It was not. I enjoyed Leo not being in it. That Daniel Day Lewis certainly is a good actor. I love the way he looks at that sticky volatile substance. I love the way it covers him. People are expendable as he obsesses over it and is fixated upon it. 4.5/5
