Asteroid City 2023
While clearly a Wes Anderson movie—what with its celebrity seek-and-find cast, meticulous set pieces, and frame story—this one, more than any other, kept me giggling throughout (I would’ve been laughing out loud, but I was in a theater after all). Clever and entertaining in every way while hiding its deeper dialogue in plain sight.
