I liked it a lot! Got to see it on 35mm with an intermission in the middle. The intermission really drew attention to how different the two halves of the film are.
Lots to think about. I’m thinking about how the patron and the main guy were foils. They’re both sinners, but in different ways— laszlo’s sins are hedonistic and driven by passion, the patron’s sins are cold and driven by desire for control.
