  I went into this not knowing much except the main premise, a man is imprisoned for 15 years without knowing why. What followed after that I can only describe as.. strange.

  My last movie of 2024, and a great one. 

  I went in mostly blind to the plot, this also being my first Truffaut, and was pleasantly surprised. I’ve been watching a lot of French film lately, this is one of my favourites. I loved the use of music, I loved the shots of Paris, the cinematography in general, and I genuinely felt sorry for antoine. I can see why this is a beloved film for many, I too think this…
