i haven’t had a film affect me like this. it takes a lot for a movie to make me cry but this made me weep multiple times, just because of the sheer beauty and profoundness of the story and craftsmanship. from the mesmerizing opening scene to the final shot this film is beautiful and impactful in every way. i loved everything about this. i can confidently say i've never seen anything like this. engrossing in every sense of the word.…

strength and weakness. femininity and masculinity. what’s between both of those, when they blend together. i think this film is perfect to me. Julia Ducournau’s filmmaking in this is just unfathomably amazing, her direction is a character itself. just brilliant. this film has so much to say that only 1 viewing doesn’t do it nearly enough justice. still has shock factor on the 3rd watch, and honestly gets better every time i watch it. i adore this movie

is it groundbreaking? no, but it’s a good ass time, and utilizes its talented cast to its fullest. feel like it could’ve gone in a better direction but i still had a good time. Will Poulter lowkey steals the show.
