I will stop no shorter than to say this is the magnum opus of George Lucas. After receiving lukewarm impressions of the previous two prequel installments, Lucas not only stuck the landing, but delivered a timeless masterpiece of the most epic scale. The way he executes his vision of the downfall of the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic, and the subsequent rise of the Sith and the Galactic Empire, is the work of genius.
He really just killed the game and dipped.
