Solid new entry in the Alien franchise. Set design, lighting and sounds are great. A bit too many nods to previous films, worst offenders being same lines being used again. Cailee Spaeny couldn’t bring the same intensity as Sigourney Weaver but she handled her role pretty well.

Kinda uneven mess split into two parts. Some wonderful moments that could be straight from Fury Road. There’s much heavier use of CGI this time which makes the whole film lose a lot of the charm of Fury Road.
