The Beast is a shaggy bird-person with schizophrenia and the Beauty is honestly a bit cuckoo herself, like just drinking some suspicious wine and immediately passing out (girl what??)

In all seriousness, this 1978 Czechoslovakian movie is actually a strange, yet surprisingly charming film with an atmosphere that is both dreamlike and gothic. It definitely has that 70s cheesiness and theatricality, but also brings some of its own interesting and unique touches to this fairytale rendition.

I agree with Michael J. Fox when he said the cult behind Teen Wolf "needs to be checked".

Also, did they get the casting director from Grease or something? Nearly every "teen" character here looks like they're 35.

This adaptation REALLY highlights just how incredibly subpar the Agatha Christie films by Kenneth Branagh are.

I can't remember the last time I so desperately wanted Men in Black to show up and wipe my memory after a movie.
