the story was so..........slow............. i honestly expected to prove the haters so wrong but there's not much to this movie. LOVE the actresses but they seemed bored out of their minds. oh! and the bad guy's acting is HORRIBLEEEEEEEE it felt like he was in one of those porno intros. his voiceover FAILS to match his mouth every.single.time. the writing felt like this was a school project.
i am interested to see more of this but i hope they improve before thinking of a prequel...

no plot, no moral, no nothing! i don't see how this was so hyped up...... was anticipating a good sob alas the only part i got teary-eyed was when Jia En died. all she wanted to do was help sincerely but what did she get? DIED. for no reason??? over these two idiots. at the last scene, he met up with his father right..? so useless la kill Jia En for what. damn stupid. no words. do better.

my sister and i made up a holiday called 'Sister Day' where we would watch this exact movie and just hang out all day. So this review is more sentimental than the rest haha.. Overall the plot is quite predictable but it's a classic and a heartwarming movie. Bonus points--- Amanda Seyfried is my childhood crush ! LOL
