In and of itself, a fascinating story well told, and I'm glad the filmmakers were able to get Jerry on camera to discuss it. The footage of the film itself is a different story.

A delightful, pull-no-punches documentary. Anton Corbijn brings great style and emotion to a film that could have easily been one of those "and then THIS happened" style docs. And with such a filmmaker and such a subject, ALL the folks roll up! Every living member of Pink Floyd! Macca! Page, Plant, Petey Gabes! Unexpected connections to the Sex Pistols and Wham! Birth of the Living Dead 2013
Does a great job putting NOTLD in various contexts, both of the time (a lot of still-difficult-to-watch Vietnam footage) and more recent (school children watching it as part of their curriculum, hell yeah!)
But in all honesty, if the whole movie was just Romero interview footage I'd be happy watching that. He was always so realistic about what they were doing, and so jovial and charming that it's a joy to hear him dig into the details.
