Snake Eyes 1998
One of those late 90s early 2000s films I vividly remember seeing ads for as child, but am just getting around to watching it now.

WALL·E 2008
If you want any insight into how neoliberal Hollywood felt about flyover America during the late 2000s look no further. This would have worked as a very excellent Pixar short to play before one of their features, as they weren't able to outdo/build upon the initial charm of the trailers.

The Lost World: Jurassic Park 1997
A flawed film, but just as fun as the original. The cliff scene beats everything in the first. An interesting adaptation of the book and how they veered from the Michael Crichton novel which interestingly enough was written like it had no care that it would be inevitably translated to screen. When I saw this at the age of seven in the theater I didn't want to miss anything so I ended up pissing my pants in the theater and when I was walking home my friends were going into the next screening and saw that I pissed my pants.
