I’ve never wanted to not watch a movie more than when the first warning shows up before the movie. Total vibe killer. Tom hanks is great as the surly old man but Marisol steals the show. It had me in tears by the end of the movie. Highly suggest it but bring tissues

I was very excited to see another new age Disney move that is emotionally provoking. Like soul or inside out. Unfortunately it tried too hard to get the analogy across and still didn’t really make a lot of sense. Had some funny moments but the mom is the shittiest and drives the plot way too much. Good movie but disappointing for Pixar

Raiders of the Lost Ark 1981
It’s crazy to see how far special effects and fight choreography has changed in movies. You can definitely tell when they’re using green screens and the fight scenes are very simple and slapstick (which did lead to some laughs). Where this movie excels is the acting dialogue and music score. Every scene is accompanied by an awesome orchestra that compliments the mood perfectly. My one gripe is that they killed the monkey but to be fair it was a nazi.
