  fantastic demon voice, great use of digital noise/film grain, first 30 minutes are completely haunting 

  but the film relied too heavily on incredibly LOUD jump scares which meant i spent the rest of the time anticipating when my ears were gonna be assaulted. also, the whole story (or lack thereof) starts to lose its bite at about the hour mark (or after we see what happens to Kaylee)

  honestly feel like i would have been more scared watching this at home, alone, rather than in a full theater
