  Now that I can give a proper review: what an absolute mess. This was absolutely awful.

  If you think Hillbilly Elegy is the worst Oscar bait in recent years, then just wait until you watch this movie. This is even worse.

  This movie existence is a serious disrespect to the legacy of Billie Holiday. Poor directing, awful script, horrendous editing, mediocre performances. Everything was off here. 2h10 and I didn't learn anything from Billie's life that I didn't know already.…

  Wow. Really loved this one but it's one of those movies you need to think about for a while. Need to rest on it for a bit. It’s a lot to take in. One thing I can say is, I didn’t find this inaccessible, like I've been reading, but it is quite slow. Wasn’t bored at all though. It passed by very nicely for me.
  Regarding the performances, Dunst and Cumberbatch definitely the standouts. Smit-McPhee was very good too and…
