Return to Dust gives an incredibly realistic and saddening depiction of rural China. Some people feel this film is romanticising rural life and is just “poverty porn”. On the contrary, I do not see anything appealing about the life portrayed. It is harsh, hard-earned, unappreciated, and exploited at every turn.

The Batman 2022
I wish for a Batman film that does more justice to anarchism. Let Batman work together with a villain to dismantle a democracy eroded by capitalism, and attempt to build a stateless society based on communities and mutual aid, and build conflict from there. Don’t just blow up shit and hope Gotham magically rebuilds itself corruption-free.
Twilight Batman is pretty cool though.
