i finally watched this film at diliman after the mtrcb deemed it worthy of an x rating. it’s a stark reminder of how attempts to silence the truth only amplify its resonance. so much for choking them into breathing the truth. i could feel the angst and anguish of the people fighting for their rights around me when they screamed "makibaka, wag matakot" right before the film started.…
