Watched today. It’s the type of biopic that’ll piss you off, and wild I didn’t watch this earlier. Drama about the little guy and some really serious moments, but I think it represented how bleak life for so many Appalachians is. What an injustice. Pretty good movie!

Forgot to review this one but watched in like March. Weird as hell, but funny in a dark dark humor kind of way. Very dry, and the whole thing was shot as if Wes Anderson was sad and British, which I actually rocked with. Easily one of the weirder movies I’ve seen but I can’t say I hated it.

Nolan managed to make a 3-hour movie that was entirely dialogue with what felt like 100 characters that didn’t drag for a second. I had read some critic reviews and heard that the last ~1 hour was a bit slower, but I was on the edge of my seat through the entirety of it. The movie is not about the use of the nuclear bomb and its effects, although there are movies for you if that’s what you want. It seems that the movie is about the political and personal consequences of building something like “the device” as they called it. This film is a masterpiece.

Could’ve been better, could’ve been worse. Kransinski put a Lil Dicky “Earth” type cast together and most of them played a very small role. I did remark to Cassie during the movie that the movie was well styled, the wardrobes were crazy. Cute concept, ending was pretty easy to see coming. Overall, a solid movie, just not my favorite type.
