This is menacing and harrowing cinema; the monster sci-fi set in earths orbit makes you ponder whether we really should make contact with extraterrestrials. The scientists dont divulge from their expertise grounding us in a realistic movie experience. Both the A grade and B grade actors add to the thrill and shock of the movie. The budget is cut short by keeping the entire set piece in the small confine of a space station while throwing everything else at the spectacular visuals. The monster is truly a disturbing scary squid from hell, its methodology cruel yet shrewd. I will never look at seafood the same again.

The Raid 2011
One of the most intense action movies to be ever made by mankind. Keeping the story simple and straight forward while concentrating on a constant uptick in martial arts which builds up like a crecendo leaving you breathless in the ability of these amazing actors. The Director's handheld camera work and editting adds to the effect. Bravo.
